LICK IT UP TOUR 1983
This rare 1983 Motley Crue T-shirt, belonged to Eric Carr.
It was personally presented to KISS, by Motley Crue, at the end
of the LICK IT UP TOUR in 1983.
Written on the back of the shirt is a personal massage signed
by each member of Crue to Kiss.
Each Crue member, one by one, in their own special words,
thanks each KISS member, Gene, Paul, Eric and Vinne, for being
so kind and believing in them, enough to choose them, to open
on tour. This was the big break that Motley Crue needed and it
was Kiss, who helped jump start it all.
Motley Crue has had a successful career over many years, and
now have reunited. Eric held onto this t-shirt as a remembrance
of a great tour with some very good friends.
This is a great piece of memorabilia. It is professionally referred to as double memorabilia. One reason is because of who it is written by, and second, because of who it was written to, and about.
It is also very important item, because it marks
Crue's first tour. If you are a KISS and or Motley Crue fan,
this is one of the most unusual and meaningful, items to have
in your collection. Each personal massage is written in blue
marker and (a little bumpy, from being written on fabric but
very legible.) each member signs their personal massage. The
shirt is a long sleeve T-shirt, with the bands logo on the front
and the back as seen above. This is a truly a wonderful part
of KISS & MOTLEY CRUE, HISTORY.
